How much does it cost?

The dictionary, kanji pages, text analysis, study lists, FSRS reviews, and notes with photos and voice clips stay free. You also get 3 free image scans per day. Pro is a one-time $14.99¥1,500 and unlocks iCloud sync for lists, notes, reviews and settings, unlimited image scans, FSRS retraining to fit the scheduler to your review history, and customization: section reordering, Zen review mode, and underlining mined words. No subscription.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Dictionary lookup, text analysis, image scanning and reviews work on your device without internet. Purchases, restoring purchases and iCloud syncing require a connection.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone with iOS 26.2 or later, and iPad with iPadOS 26.2 or later.

Where does the dictionary data come from?

JMdict, JMnedict and KANJIDIC2 from the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group, KanjiVG for stroke order, and Tatoeba for example sentences.

What happens to my data?

It stays on your device and in your own iCloud account. There is no sign-up and no analytics.
